Short Stays for INSEAD: P4–P5 and May–June

Updated July 2026 · by the owners of Bleau Homes · 4 min read

Every intake, hundreds of INSEAD students need housing for just two months — and discover that most Fontainebleau landlords won't touch short leases. P4/P5 MBAs arriving from Singapore mid-August, exchange students, partners visiting for a period, and the May–June crunch all hit the same wall. This page is the way around it.

Who needs a short stay

May – June: rooms at short-stay rates

Rooms at The Continental — Berlin, Madrid and Dublin — are offered for May–June each year at the short-stay rate. Each room's current all-inclusive rate is published on its own page and in our live availability search.

Two rates only, based on the length of the stay and nothing else: a long-stay rate for three months and more, and a short-stay rate below three months. Both are genuinely all-inclusive, with no agency fees and no exit surprises.

Mid-August → mid-October (P4/P5)

Availability for this window depends on each year's bookings — which is exactly why our real-time search exists: enter your dates and see what is actually free today, rather than emailing ten landlords for a “sorry, minimum 4 months”.

The sublet route: many INSEAD students leave for exchange just as P4/P5 students arrive. In our homes, subletting to another INSEAD student is explicitly allowed — so short windows open up all year. Ask us what is coming available; we see the calendar first.

What a short stay includes

Fully furnished room or flat, gas, water, electricity, high-speed internet, local taxes and cleaning — all in the price. When you are here for eight weeks, not having to open a single French utility account is worth more than the rent difference.

Three tips for short-stayers

  1. Move fast. Short-stay supply is the scarcest in Fontainebleau; when a window matches your dates, take it.
  2. Stay walkable. Without a car, a 3–10 minute walk to campus transforms a two-month stay.
  3. Get the total in writing. Short leases attract the worst fee-stacking elsewhere — one all-in number is the standard to demand.

Enter your exact dates — see every room and flat free for them, today.
